Hi guyz . i want to buy a new car and have three options

Chevrolet Optra (brand new)
Corolla (brand new)
Honda Civic (2005 or prior)

could u plz compare these cars (Aftersale service + Resale Value + Parts Availability) and give ur honest advice which one should i buy.

corrola has the best resale.
parts of civic and rolla are available easily.
optra has got performence.
i wil suggest that u buy optra

What 'performance' does the Optra have? By far the 'fastest car' from these choices is the Civic whether EXi or VTi (108hp @ 1500 CC & 128 HP @ 1600 CC). Optra has a sucky 108hp from a DOHC 1600 CC engine. The Altis would be faster than the (old) Civic if its amongst his choice. Civic would offer you the best value for money.

optra got nice torque, 5Nm more than vti at 1000 less rpm, 15Nm more than Exi at 500 less rpm.

why do people never include the lancer into this catagory? it's in the same leagues and size-class,... for alot less money.

if u want to know the fastest of them is the civic i rced a member here a pakwheels who had a chevrolet optra and i won with my civic !

UFFFF!!! guys best does not mean fastest. best for people like us (young and working hard for our money) should mean value for money, in which case the optra and lancer win hands down.

@Storm,

I disagree, I think Civic 05 offers the most value for money. Ride quality, 'power', 'comfort' and looks. Even the fuel economy is excellent.

thanks guys for ur valuable comments. but unfortunately only few commented abt the resale value and availability of parts.

waisay Lancer bhi kafi achi choice he but i think us ki maintenance civic se ziada expensive he. i am still undecided. my budget is PKR 11 lac (sorry i didn;t mention it before)

Yar what I have heard is that Lancer is a killer when it comes to fuel consumption. Its body is too damn heavy and its fuel average is terrible.

Any experienced mate on this one?
