Hi talal bhai;
yea! Indeed, I remember and there is a strong reason why it didnt because you have experience of riding light weight CG 125, which is far more aggressive bike in weight to power ratio, and a superb quality bike.
Piaggo is more bulky in mass and so as the weight so do not jump on hoves like CG. (one of our brother from karachi "FC" has put storm Class engine (chinese) in CG 125 with 200cc cylnder bore and he has some striking output to share with us I think you are also subscribed ti the thread if not heres the link) :

secondly I have a different point of veiw regarding the long term quality and this is very important for us being pakistani u know, because my ride odo is reaching 50k soon and its 4 years and its still rollin from sahiwal to lahore twice a month [800km in total]...
Now the BAD SIDE
What I hate about Paiggo the expensive or no availablity of spare parts and poor service network. litterly!!
when ever some one asks me paiggo kesi bike hai tu I said always, its very good but not comparable to JAPs. and offcourse every body has different sacale of qaulity, but that doesnt mean its a bad quality bike from any case.
In simple word if you need bike for your young age years and you have two options [think like a avg teenager/young ]:
1 - Superb 20years reliable age tested engine, no looks,no modern equips, high resale, ruged suspension, poor breaking, Expensive
2 - Super Look, floating Suspension, good speed, cheap price, Modern equip,design, total age 5 year
Now by looking at options yes some people will stick too Option 1 but masses would be interested in Option2 if spare Parts and service network is sorted out, becuase as a common user almost every body replace their bike after 5 years then why need 20years age engine when you are not going to use it for 20year any way.
