This review is regarding Chinar Family Resort located near PC Bhurban. We had a pretty bad experience at this place. We arrived at 1:30 PM with a booking, but were told that our suite will not be ready before 2:30 PM. When finally we checked in, the sheets were dirty and carried body hair from previous guests. The refrigerator also had not been cleaned and carried left over food.

The bathroom of our suite (206) emitted very bad smell. The wifi did not work. Every time the electric supply shifted to generator, the room heater went off.

They told us the rent but conveniently forgot to tell us that it did not include taxes. The place also does not accept credit card. You can only pay by cash.

All in all very poor experience.

My stay was better long back in 2009.

First of all on the behalf of chinar please accept my apologies regarding u r experience with us. We will fix all the issues u had during u r stay and ill make sure it will not happen again.

That's really bad - this is common practice - which is giving bad image to tourism

there should be some authority the check and get complaint from people - which should be properly adveritse - so all be aware that such work will effect there business

For the info of those who asked charges were:
14,500 for suite
2400 taxes approx
3000 for 2 mattresses.
For comparable money you can get a room in PC Bhurban, if there is a deal on. Advantage is that PC is centrally air-conditioned. Chinar is not. Bathrooms in Chinar are cold and smelly in winter and their instant geyser plays games while taking shower.

I have travelled to many countries, and these rates are much higher than international rates.

I have an upcoming trip in march for three days and plan on staying at pc bhurban...
