does good quality chinese alloy wheels affect suspension of car?? people are using these chinese rims in great numbers and in expensive cars..suggestions!

Suspension is mostly affected by tire size & quality. Chinese alloys might be unsafe as their material might be of lower quality leading to breakage in case of driving over rough roads or big potholes at higher speeds.

so is it okay to use apart from their low quality as they are prone to damage ?? u mean it doesnt affect the suspensions etc

If you will use bigger alloys then you will definitely need to put bigger tyres. That will affect the suspension. Chinese alloys or Thailand or Japanese vary only in quality and price. So if safety is not an issue then you may use Chinese alloys.

If you are satisfied then go ahead. Maybe the dealer can give some warranty to give you some peace of mind

They are unsafe...ur steel rims are much safer than those. Dont drive whole car on chinese unreliable maal. Better get used alloys but original ones

Its chinese alloys vs Pakistani steel rims! Make your judgement as i believe that both would be less than top quality. But safety should not be an issue with both if you drive within safe limits. For out of limit driving, wheels would still be lasting longer than many other things of the car

All pakistan assembled cars have Pakistani steel rims. Anyhow i think Chinese rims are safe for normal running.

Its not about Pakistani steel rims, its about the manufacturing quality of oem products..and that quality far better than locally available Chinese alloys. Pakistani made products are very good, when manufactured on standards

In absence of any technical data nothing can be concluded. But i know a lot of people who are plying safely on motorways and rural roads with chinese rims and they have clocked thousands of Kms. Never heard of a chinese rim disintegrating and causing accident. It all comes down to personal choice, market has the options. If one has money to spend he would surely buy the best.

Bhai i have seen a lot of broken as well and they eventually cause big accidents.used jdm rims are much better option

Yes Chinese alloy wheels affects suspension badly.
They are not hubcentric.

No matter how accurate you do wheel balancing they will vibrate after 130km/h

Chinese rims will always have balancing issues. Ive been through this.

Also most of them have weird offsets that end up damaging the suspension.

I have used Chinese rims in my 7th gen civic and always had wobbling at speeds more than 100kmph. Ultimately got Original Honda Vti rims and ive never had balancing issues since then.
