Chinese Rechargeable Mopeds launched in Islamabad

Before couple of days that come to my notice that a chines company is selling electric rechargeable scooters in Islamabad Blue Area.
So i went there and have some pics also ... The reason for posting it here is to get experts decisions about this new thing.
The Staff at outlet told me that with one recharge it will run for 70km and the max speed is 40 to 55 km .. they have four models. Starting from Rs.54500. Rs. 56000, Rs. 58000, and the most expensive one is @Rs.66000/-
The compny name is (China & Pakistan New Energy International Co.Ltd.)and Manufacture Base is Zhejiang Changxing Yajin Machinery Co.Ltd.

Sorry to say all these scooters are having chichora designs o bhai is per to jhote bache he baithange so funny but in india they are selling such nice kind of scooters.

Priced high they arent too expensive if persoanly imported. Looks low quality but still looks nice.

my personal opinion is a 50cc gasoline motor one would have been better
Pakistan does not even have constant electric supply to charge these things
according to load shedding it will be plugged into the wall socket for half day?

just 1.2kw-hr for 100km. That is very good economy. Even if it is 2kw-hr, still better than most efficient bikes on the road.

for rs 110 worth of petrol, the best petrol bike will do maybe 50 km/liter. so that is 2.2rs/km.

This bike consumes at diesel generator rate of producing electricity (~rs25/kw-hr) , just rs 50 for 100km, which means rs0.5/km. Although you still need battery replacement after maybe 2yr....

In China electric bikes are used as the electricity is much cheaper then petroleum and they do not pollute the air.... ( as pollution is very high in big cities...) and in China they were used to be registered as they are available in a large number.... And over their people didnt thought that they look kind of childish or ugly as they didnt have any other choice....

Or you can use a 4 x 30W solar panels to charge the batteries in one day (if the battery specs are correctly mentioned). Would not cost more than 10k.

But in Pakistan to buy these bikes is a useless thing.... When I was I guess 8 or 7years old my father bought me a ebike (also knkwn as electric bike) used it for 6 momths then their was some problem in the back wheel some problem with the chain or something I dont rememer but as the parts were not available so the bike is still in the garage for 8 years I guess..... As were not able to get it fixed

Creating Awareness for these bikes to be used in PAKISTAN would be one of the toughest issue... also electricity shortage would give the user a tough time.... most of the countries where these electric vehicles are used have charge plugs available at frequent distant stops which provide them with easiness.
