Choose best car in fuel average

Hello,

I am searching for a car that is best in fuel economy, Please tell me from your precious knowledge. (other than local alto)

Conditions:
budget: around 35-36
Automatic car
Easy and economical maintance

In my research, I found
cultus AGS (16-17) kmpl

Nissan Dayz Highway star S hybrid X pro pilot 2019+ model (I'm confused about it, some says it's average is 10-14, some says it's 20 and even some says around 24[with high octane fuel]), it's all in city average. Please tell me your personal experience, is it worth buying or not? and also tell me Is it make any difference if we use High octane?

Mitsubishi EK X: 18-20 in city

Please let me know if I'm wrong and also tell me some other cars in this budget.

i am a senior Automotive Technician and I would recommend the 2019 or 2020 Honda City with 1.5L engine in this price bracket. If we compare the Suzuki Cultus and Honda City, there is a vast difference between the two. There is no price gap btw both cars and both cars offer similar fuel efficiency. However, the Honda City has a more powerful engine, and the plus point is that it is a sedan car.

one of my friend has Cultus AGS and it's giving 17kmpl
and also one of my cousin has Aspire 15. Prosmatec and it's giving 10.5kmpl
both are in city.

Basic usage of the vehicle will be pick n drop to school to my daughter, going to office and some shopping.
Areas will be Allama Iqbal Town, Johar Town, DHA.

Monthly usage of car will be around 1000KM. and 70-80% will be in above areas.

I am also undergoing similar dilemma of buying a reliable hatch with best / better fuel efficiency. The ones that offer best mileage are very pricey including Aqua, Note and Nissan Days Hybrid. One may not be able to recover the extra price against fuel efficiency offered and therefore whole idea of buying a super efficient but expensive car may be counter productive. Local Suzuki hatches may offer better value for money however lag on the luxury side. Daihatsu, Nissan and Mistsubishi hatches may fall in the intermediate range however buying JDMs can be tricky as almost 90 percent are accidents or at worst totalled scrap
