Choosing between suzuki alto vs cultus

Dear experts, I'm planning to buy a vehicle ranging between 6 - 7 lacs in karachi city and my consideration is either suzuki alto 2009-10 model or cultus 2008 efi. As i kept cuore before so that's not in the list. Kindly tell me the pros and cons of choosing one, which one can perform better on long routes without creating hassle.

Go for suzuki cultus efi... Economy, spacious resale are the plus over alto......

Only Cultus EFi.. i.e 2008... Easy maintenance, more space than alto, better fuel efficiency.

Alto is a pain, my office colleague has it and he is fed up of it. While there are 4 more company Altos, and company has decided to get rid of em cause too much maintenance and issues despite being perfectly maintained.

If you are looking for a hatchback Cultus Efi 2008-9

but if you don't have a strict budget then you can look for aToyota Indus

Better and Powerful engine / AC
Cons:
Older model
Parts are expensive then cultus

Thanks for your honest suggestions everyone. Also what about the performance on long routes, if travelling to another city (not rural driving). Any known faults related to engine, electric or mechanical aspects that i must be aware of?

Bro No issues at all, if decently maintained Cultus is a good companion in city and on highways since decades,,,, Go for it....

There are no known faults that occur frequently.... Very reliable for anywhere

Since u r looking for older model, so they will be almost all at 100k km plus.... Pls try to find one that has good engine health... Give priority to Mechanical and electrical condition rather than a shimmering body... Body can have dents and scratches, and it will not effect ur drive, but do not accept any mechanical\electrical errors at all.

Although hard, but find one that still has auto fan and thermostat installed with coolant in radiator.

Cultus hands down. I second the valued info given by @sleeper. Get thorough engine inspection from top mechanics aj k 2000 Kal k 20000 bacha jayenge

I am driving Cultus 2004 NON - EFi from day one and the car have no known faults as per my knowledge but make sure to get it thoroughly inspected
Try to get a car which is well maintained
