The car in question is a city 04.
I have been noticing that its handbrake was a bit loose and upon checking the mechanic told me that i will need to change the brake pads in a couple of month, but no need to worry.
Today, when i took the car out, the handbrake seems very tight. i only have to lift it 2 cm upwards to jam the car. the brake pedal seems a little tighter too. it needs a slight push and teh brakes start working.
there is a very faint noise coming from teh front left wheel as well.its like a hinge is rubbing together and needs oiling. i dorve around 20 kms today in full traffic and i didnot notice any issue in braking.
any expert opinion on this? what exactly should i get checked? i am a bit concerened as i mostly drive with my family (although i never exceed 60/hr)
