Guys,

please inform regarding total expected expense for 40k KM maintenance and what does it entail?. I have heard from a lot of people that it is one of the most expensive ones?

what is expensive....first get it checked....if only engine oil has to be changed then there is no other cost....if there is a problem with shocks and suspensions then it would cost you....

I think it was 2015 that I got this so called 40k km service done. Did not go to the 3S and went to a ex-Honda workshop employee instead. I think spent around 12-14 thousand, mostly on lubricants (engine oil, gear oil, break oil) and spark plugs. Fuel pump was not changed as it was not giving any trouble (even till now at 60k km, I am still running the original company fitted pump), that saved me around Rs.10,000.

fuel filter 9,500/- i am getting an average of 14 km/l within city... do i really need to change this?
wheel align & balance - 2000
throttle body wash -- ????
valve adjustment ----?

Rs. 35k - 9.5-2-2 = 22 k for throttle body and valve adjustment?

yes bro. tips noted. and i use only genuine accessories from HONDA 3S

i use a mix of HOBC and Super.. in 50-50 ratios and 30-70 ratios to keep budget in check

My car had crossed its warranty life... long ago it is a 2010 model and to date it has a little above 60k on the meter.
One thing that i would like to highlight, the user manual of your car says change the transmission/gear oil of your car at 40k km, but mostly people over here disagree, in their opinion gear oil have longer life span in fact some go to extend that it is for lifetime... all you need to is top it up
