Been experiencing slight jerking when accelerating between 1500 to 2000 RPM and there are cases where my car would stall or shut off while in traffic light (doesn't happen frequently). Any idea what could be causing these two issues?
check backside engine coils. mostly 2nd no from camside have issues in idsi engine
What signs i should be looking for if the coils are going bad? My car is still jerking but the check engine light isn't lighting up yet. And what about the car stalling in idle? Could it be related to that or a bad sensor or fuel pump?
mostly melted coil leg or just check cracks on rubber part of legs. or burnout marks or try to bend leg with soft hand it will break
lots of it can go bad in IDSI engine, you should start with its coils, Oxygen Sensor, Plugs, Fuel Pump. Knock Sensor, Throttle Positioning Sensor, Clean it Throttle Body.
