On petrol, liana is totally problem free..all its issues arose on cng only

You are absolutely right. Have heard bad reviews from almost everyone I discussed of buying a Liana but as I have driven it, the drive is quite good. The main problem I would be facing is of resale when I'll intend of selling it otherwise Liana is the best car in the price range of 750k.

About resale. I don't think the price goes down that much. Its that it won't sell fast. Back in 2009 we purchased used Liana LXi CNG 2008 model for around 850k
Now it can go for 700k easily after 7 years. Maybe even more cause it was so less driven and maintained well.

And its drive is certainly superior than City and Corolla because it has 4 wheel independent suspension. That means all four wheels can travel up/down without affecting each other. That gives excellent road grip. I have taken it to 80kmph on petrol in 2nd gear and that too under 5000rpm. Imagine the engine power!

The Suzuki M series engines are wonderful...chain drives and dual cams...same in Swift, Liana, Jimny and now in New Vitara too (M16 1600cc)..

But i think suspension wise Liana can be better than city but yar Corolla tou baap hai in suspension

I am not talking in terms of strength/reliability or comfort. Look at it from the point of suspension geometry and mechanics wise. Corolla and City, both have torsion beams(semi-independant) at the rear. When cornering the rear wheels both act like they are rigidly connected via a shaft. So this causes the rear end to sway hence resulting in instability. When you have all wheels traveling independanly like in the case of Liana and Civic, the rear end doesn't sway much.
Corolla's suspension is certainly more comfortable for our roads.
