City Idsi compression Test

I had compression test done today on city idsi 2008 from Honda outlet . The results were 151,151,151 & 153. Test was done because of engine oil reduction. If the cylinder compression is ok then what else could be the reason of oil reduction?
0.75 liter reduced in honda 10w30 and around 0.25 liter in zic 20w40 . Now i have poured total quartz 5w30 and will see the end result.

what is difference for wet & dry compression.

if some mechanic perform only dry test he is STUPID, check the correct procedure in video

These readings are already low. Engine most probably needs valves and rings work.

Reason for reduction of oil in engine in due to internal leakage or external leakage.If there is no drops of oil beneath your car's engine then there is no external leakage. If your mechanic only perform Dry Test ask him to perform Wet test as well and then see whats the reading if reading increase from this value then there are internal leakage in your engine that burning oil. As you change the oil from 10w30 to 20w40 your oil reduction decreases from 0.75 to 0.25 and i think its because of oil thickness 20w40 is a thick oil so it might fill the gap between piston and cylinder that reduce oil reduction
Suggestion is to go for Wet compression test as well. If blue-grey smoke is coming out from from your cars tail pipe then engine is definitely burning oil

Readings are fine for now should be around 160 .. will get worse with time
