City IDSI sweet smell while AC is On

Recently got my AC serviced and since then i am having a Sweet Smell from Vents after sometime and its intermittent randomly comes and goes. Cooling and Tripping of Car Compressor is ok.

Maybe ac technician forgot chocolate inside the evaporator while service.

Check you coolant level.
You heater core might be leak.

What type of sweet smell? Gulab jamun type or chemical type?

i guess the AC guy washed evaporator with SURF excel but cudnt take that out completely, now when the AC is working and there is moisture accumulated on evaporator then it re ignite the surf and causes the smell.

If u r smelling exhaust like smell, then the fresh air intake is not properly sealed and getting fumes from outside.

If u r getting compressor oil like smell, then probably u have a leaked evaporator and comp oil is seeping out and u r getting the smell.

else u r heading towards euphoria and smelling the scents of jannah.

or there is a perfumery on ur way which u can smell thru ur vents.

Yes bro smell is like compressor oil today got it checked again.AC is not chilling anymore like before it used to.

u can easily check that leak, disconnect the evap and pressue test it , to make sure that there is a breach in evap.

to replace it i guess u need to dismentle while dashboard, plz employ someone who have good experience in doing that and can do this job without breaking half of things.

and dont wash ur cooling box with pressure as it will wash away the foam insulations which ac guys hardly replace. even if they do, they stick the common low aulity foam with samad bond which gives away very easily.

use proper foram with sticky side to replace any broken foam. and repack.

Evaporator leaked. Clear indication. He has left oring on expansion valve where evaporator and expansion valve mate together.
