I wanna know if sharkfin antenna in new city can be replaced with the old stick type? I know the pros and cons but the shark fin just looks ugly
you will lose FP, aka fin power.
Its probably more trouble than its worth to replace. You would have to remove the roof liner from the rear to be able to remove the current antenna (I think its bolted on). Not worth it imo.
I have 2018 model non aspire. Can i add fin power into my city?
No you can't. For fin power you need to buy models that come standard with shark fin from Atlas. Aftermarket fins won't do the trick I am afraid
You are thinking to remove next generation technology
It's very easy actually. The black base of both the antennas is the same so you can easily interchange them.
Check this... The black base is same, they just convered it for anchoring the shark fin.Just remove this upper plastic and screw a stick type antenna (only OEM) here and you're done
And where to get OEM antenna now
I stand corrected. No wonder its big as it fits over the old one.
There's no need to remove the roof liner. It's all external. The shark fin actually covers the same black base which comes in every other honda City. Removing the fin exposes it clearly.
Scrap market it you can check Honda itself. It's easily available
