City steermatic full at 32 liter

guys. i have steermatic. on reserved light i full the tank and it gets full at 32 liters. though the manaul says it has 45 liters tank. please suggest is something bad with the gauage ?
The needle was on E point when i filled the tank. but petrol filles till neck and completed on 32 liters . that's strange

the last owner told me it has 35 liters of tank

The fuel gauge on that car is not a true indicator of fuel level, its affected by driving style.

Btw

Never ever fill any car to the neck of the filler, it will cause major problems.

understand i will not fill to neck again. i often fill 25 liters.

last time i filled 25 liters and car run till 227 kms total. so was getting 9km/L with ac. is it normal or abnormal? i was thinking to clean the fuel filter because on last corolla when i replaced rhe fuel filter and cell the average was drastically changed and got better average

Can you specify some? I mostly fill beyond auto stop usually to come to round figure.

Got 34 liters in City last year. I assume both 1.3 and 1.5 share the same fuel tank.

Reserve light comes on at atleast 10/11 liters in the tank.

The top vent is connected to a a charcoal canister (if car has evap recovery system) or a pressure regulating valve (older pk models)

Both will get severely damaged by liquid fuel. So whenever you fill, let the handle click off itself, dont try to fill after that.

City originally had L12a 1200cc, I replaced the engine with L13

This was exactly 458.5 km driven on 33.90 liters averages around 13.5 kmpl with full AC

this mileage included alot of testing, tuning, idleing after engine change.

Returned the car to the owner after it was done. This was same period last year. CORONA was at peak only got a chance to check 1 tank.

I have Auto CVT 7 speed one.

i will replace the Fuel Filter and Cell and will see the Result may be it will hike to 11 to 12 in city with AC on.

Manuals were better then Autos in Avg like 1 to 3 Km Avg is better .

11/12 for a 1500cc engine is City driving is a decent average.

Don't stress your self thinking your car has a problem. If your car drives smoothly without struggling, hiccups, missing. And isn't giving any weird fuel smell burning smell on idleing its fine.

And also not decreasing any engine oil, or doesn't heatsup.

Alhumdolillah my car doesnt give any problem in anything, its Smooth , Fast, No issue at all in anything. i will not messup with anything and will keep using that way.
