City vario 2004 L15A assembly swapped running on L12A2 ECU

As the subject states city vario 2004 was swapped with L15A head assembly but ECU is old of L12A2 engine.
Both engines have same bore but L15A has slightly longer stroke.

Can this ECU mismatch have any impact as I am facing

1- slight misfire listened from exhaust like a random "Phuk" sound
2- slight jerking between 80 to 100 Km/h speed
3- delay in throttle response when moving from stopped

yes l15a ecu is different , if u change l15a be sure to change exhaust for 2 o2 sensor +if egr is fitted then its wiring too

I know ECU is different for L15 but apart from EGR and O2 sensor wouldn't both ECU's work the same way?
EGR can be replaced with blank EGR plate from old engine and O2 sensor not installed.

You have manual or auto (vario) ?

In case of vario there is a gearbox "gararee" change required to make gearbox work with Paki L12A2 ECU. I had it changed as I was planning to run with paki ecu.
Now if I want to switch to L15A ECU (auto) then I need to get three things changed back.
1- Gararee back to the Japani setup
2- O2 sensor in exhaust manifold
3- EGR connected

I made a mistake since I got the couple (Engine + plus cvt gearbox) changed I should have added the ECU plus wiring too, instead of opening the gearbox.

Did you have all these things done??

btw .. what mileage figures are you getting.. and how do you calculate?

I monitor trip mileage from OBD using Torque. In slow driving I get 11 Kmpl and in less rush driving around 13 Kmpl

manual 06 egr is replaced by tikkli connection open

in 14litre of petrol i get 200km+ without ac in karachi driving and 14 no tyres

Brother i have the same issue i have installed L15A head assembly in my 2004 city. Its M/T. The ECU is same as old of L12A2. but its like car jerks a bit and slight missing sound from silencer. And pickup is not upto the mark. Can you help me in this regard.
