City Vario Transmission issue!

hello to all.. i hope every one is fine..
So apparently there is a strange issue with my relatives city vario`s transmission. The symptoms are sudden rpm drops upon engaging any gear R D S L . the rpm is stable at 800 but as soon is it goes to R the engines stalls near to going off then suddenly it goes to normal.. the strange part is when it goes back again to P (parking) the rpm then goes to 1000 , 200 more then the normal. there is no check light or any sounds.. it will further be inspected tomorrow. but what can be the possible cause please help me with this.. info on car is its 110k driven on petrol.. and maintenance is upto date.. CVT oil is also replaced on time.. @xulfiqar bhai give your valuable comments

This is normal bro. Don't take any tension.

When you put gear into R, D,S,L this is electronic system controlled by TCM and ECU and put load on engine to move forward and reverse manner. Hence rpm should decrease.

If you put in to P, its mean your car transmission is lock and unable to move forward or reverse. Hence engine is free of load and rpm should increase for proper working.

When will you service the throttle body? Also check the air filter.

yes i know this type of behavior is pretty normal but i felt a sudden change i mean the load is too much and its obvious the rpm needle nearly touches 0 and kicks up again as before it was very minor. how ever i have drive it around there is no problem in acceleration or pick. throttle service was done at 92k..i will check the air filter too..
BTW can it have any relation with a weak battery?

I don't think so. Have you any problem in starting the car?

Please check the fuel filter. Mostly this is common problem caused by bad fuel filter.

everything is fine just this gear changing .. yes i guess it might be the fuel filter as it is not changed for a while. but bad fuel filter should also have affect on drive etc

Has the car been cnged ever? Do you hear kar kar sound when shifting to D?
I think you need to calibrate your clutches... Honda cvts has these problems. Check the Honda city thread for recalibration. If you hear kar kar sound than most probably your cvt is near to failing. If not than u need to calibrate ur first clutch and throttle body service that's it.

the best thing is to hook up an obd 2 scanner and check where the fault lies, but most probably it looks like a bad oxygen sensor
