CITY'12 - Brake service at 15000km checkup?

recently did a 10,000 km checkup of my honda city 2012 from Honda Fort . they did the norm but also did front disc brake service (for free) .

I asked them what will be done at 15,000km , they said oil change etx etx and also front brake service , again , and that then it will be charged for (Rs1500) .

Now im confused why would it need brake service again after mere 5000kms! PWs plz help me , and that is this correct? , and if not then what should be done!

Just follow the owner's manual. There is no need for a brake service after 5k kms. They are ripping you off.

if they are polishing(tool lagana) the Disc evry 5K then thats a sure way to have to replace this expensive part after 25 - 30 K where as its only to be done whith pad replacement typically every 25K. Every 5K the service should only mean to inspect the disc and pads for any abnormal situation and just clean it with a cloth to remove any debrie.
