Im planning to buy a car and have two options.1. Civic oriel brand new 42 lakh 12 thousand and registration 2. Bmw x1 2017 model. 68 lakhs and trasnfer charges.Pl advice
They are of two different price bracket I will suggest go in between and buy some brand new crossover like Sportage or HSThese x1s from 2017 ran into many issues because of bad fuel quality better be safe then sorry from above options civic will be my preference I have kept x1 it doesn’t have much comfort because of its stiff suspension In crossovers the locally offered crossovers have much more comfort and features although performance and quality of x1 is very nice
68 is a bit too much for a 2017 x1 you can find one with decent specs at 56-58 easily
Civic known issues are still exists in 2021?
I have been using a turbo rs since 2019 and I haven’t ran into any issues at all however people do say some issues do still exist but i have been quite satisfied with the car especially the quality IMO has been quite a lot improved although not even close to imported cars but still better then it used to be
1.8 civic is pretty sluggish thou and quitr delicate.I'd suggest corolla.It's like a mini suv, good for bad roads and can sustain a lot. Plus no issues since launch.I own both so telling you by hands on experience.
Stay away from X1. It's a vehicle full of issues. Dewan motors doesn't has support for this car. Smallest parts are avaliable on order.
Rear seats are very uncomfortable.
The only thing appealing about x1 is the bmw badge nothing else I would only buy a German car if it’s brand new and in your budget the only thing on offer is the A3 offered by Audi Pakistan which is not worth the price in my opinion
I myself have owned a Mercedes GLA bought from shah Nawaz directly and also a A6 which I have been using for 5 years now without any issues I think one would be very brave to buy a used German car
Currently audi pak is not importing A3 as per their rep he said its engine is now 2.0 so we are not importing A3.
I think in my budget german car is not available.
Oh okYeah you should go for a local car it will be much better for your budget and also cheaper and easier to maintain

Stay away from X1. I was in the same boat. Germans especially Beemers are pure headaches.
