Assalam u alikum brothers,
I own a 2000 civic vti oriel (Manual transmission) with a D15 engine.
Recently the car stopped working on petrol and i sent the car to one of the mechanics near by. They changed, fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned tank, serviced injectors and throttle body.
Now the car starts on petrol and RPM doesn't die when the i press the break with clutch pressed to stop the car. However there is one very irritating problem i am facing and i need help from all you dear brothers.
First advise on who is best mechanic in Karachi for Honda Civic 2000 (fuel and engine related work) ?
Second - the tank was refitted and it had 8 litres of petrol, i topped it up with 1000 rs petrol (approx 8.5 ltrs) the car ran smoothly for about 40 km only and then started jerking ..
the jerk feeling is as if the car is not getting enough fuel.. If i drive the car with a light foot and keep the rpm around 1200 it'll drive but as i push the pedal it starts to jerk again.
Upon doing another 1000 rs fuel topup, same happened. Car drives ok till 40 to 50 km and then starts jerking.
I visited mechanic and he changed the fuel strainer attached to fuel pump. After this there was an improvement of 10 to 15 km more and same story happened.
I am clueless and really worried and need help. Please advise.
P.S - i tried my best to explain the situation above, excuse me for any written or explanation mistakes.
