Which ECU u have for this engine?

Would love to tell you if only I knew how to check that. I don't know where is the ecu located in this car.

It is under the glove box to the right side. Visible only when the glove box is open completely. It shall be almost square metal box.

Hello people.
I have bought Civic 98 Automatic, which has single VTEC engine, (PK6V) is mentioned on the block. I am not sure which D16 series engine is this.
Secondly, I have P2J-J63 ECU, which is dual VTEC ecu and not suitable for my engine.
So when I run my car to around 3000rpm, 1st VTEC threshold arrives and car pulls up. At the same time check light comes up as there is no dual vtec to come up next. After that my car's performance goes bad untill I restart the car.

I have another ECU of my friend which he has uninstalled from his CIVIC 97, P6F-P01. Can I install this one to match my engine (will there be a transmission issue)? Or should I search another?
And if there is another solution, feel free to share.

your engine needs p6f ecu.
so yes you can install it
but make sure it is the automatic variant one.
btw in need p2j ecu.
let me know if you wanna sell it.
currently p2j ecu costs about 4-5k
and p6f costs around 12-14k

Mere pass civic exi 2000 automatic model ha jo ke mere pass 2012 se ha and now i have decided to rebuilt it as it requires some body work and paint.
I want to replace the engine too tou i want to know ke is ke stock engine ko kya kehte hain and ke iska stock engine with all its parts complete wiring all that kahan se mil jaye ga and if anyone knows at which budget so plz tell?

Hello

You can use P2M ecu but it should be the automatic varient.
I think this was for 99-00 models.
The automatic one will have number like
37820-P2M-N51
37820-P2M-N91

Or
If you want to use 96-98 ecu
Then go for 37820-P6F-P51

Usually the second last number indicates the transmission type. For automatic it is usually 5 or 9

my car got flooded. i suspect the ecu is done.

if any one in karachi, willing to lend their ecu to me for 5 minutes, so i can confirm its the ecu thats faulty, would be much appreciated.

i can buy from upcountry too, but the ECU must be confirmed tested and working.

One more thing, can I install oxygen sensor on this card P6f-P51 ? As I have heard, oxygen sensor is limited to japanese variants. May be I have heard wrong!

No you cannot

Will P2M-N51 or P2M-N91 work fine ? My main concern is fuel average, it should be good.
Does these cards support oxygen sensor ?

P2M will also not support O2 sensor
