Any suggestions for good fuel average? Which card should I buy?

Your engine is basically a D16Y8 which comes worldwide with O2 sensor and some more sensors. So if you get an a proper ecu of D16Y8 you will need to add some more sensors like o2 sensor and maybe eld. And many thing will be different.
Currently you should use the above mentioned ecu for best result. And you can also try to get it tuned from someone who got exhaust gas analyzer. In place of O2 sensor we have a trim pot located under driver side kick panel. But it could only be adjusted by using exhaust gas analyzer. What fuel avg currently you are getting?

waisay in my car, this would also have been submerged in water too. whats the symptom if this is getting faulty?

i can actually smell unburnt fuel in the exhaust for quite a long time now. have NEVER had the car tuned or scanned or any thing

Stock reading should be around 1.5V for 1.6l

My friend Got totally stock 2000 Civic 1.6L Vti Oriel manual transmission with 41000 original mileage... took reading from its car.. it was 1.53 V .. and his car gives 12-14kmpl in Islamabad City.. [image]

I think it can only effect fuel when the car is on idle. After that ecu use the pre stored fuel map to manage the fuels

Yeah i was referring to the same thing. Thanks a lot for taking pic and doing the effort fpr clearing it up.
So its called trim pot. Actually when u connect the scanner toe it shows IMV setting and in front of it there is the voltage as u described and by rotating this screw the voltage is adjusted. So i thought its called IMV.
Also as far as my knowledge goes, there are two trims. Short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim. When the ECU senses a rich mixture it leans it and vice versa and save this value in 2 forms, one short term which changes almost real time, and one long term, which is saved through shut down and subsequent start ups. As far as i know this setting is reset if u perform the reset procedure of the ECM.
This is as per my knowledge, any member is welcome to add, or correct me if required.

Get it scanned to see the voltage of fuel trim.
U mentioned ur ECU is also bad? If thats the case then i would recommend getting a compatible working ECU first and then persuing everything else.
