Auto these models if maintained well will be 8 to 10 kmpl local and 12 to 13 on highway. Badly maintained people get 5 to 6 kmpl.
Don't listen to previous owner, most of these shameless people lie on your face to sell thr car judge your self, take technical help. The dream can turn into nightmare if you chose a badly maintained car.

In my opinion realistically you can't get a 2 years old civic with original engine. Even if its the original engine, it maybe overhauled or something.
But if someone has this type of civic, he will be asking a fortune.

Now there are two more options i have.... Another friend selling his civic vti oriel auto silver with
d15b-dual vtec engine claiming 12average in city with ac qnd 15 to 16 on highway he daily go to bahria town from karachi with same head code and ecu but body need shower no check engine light asking 750final.... Another one is d15-vtec cvt transmission black oriel asking 8 lac final ...will visit today both

Find a car with its original engine (let it be in dead state). You can then swap the engine yourself. Stay away from cars which have been swapped with different engine other than the one it came with, else you will end up in all sorts of electrical nightmares.
Most mechanics here are crooks and you dont want to spend your life with them with such car.

Searched that but they are asking similar price as compared to engine changed cars. condition are not good...also timing issue due to mon to sat job from 9 to 9

Yes, and sometimes even more than swapped ones. With swapped ones, you will have no idea how it was done and what kinds of problems you will be dealing with. Here, illetrate mechanics couldnt figure out a thing and blame it on "fel swap". Go for such cars if you can work on them yourself, else its gonna bite back hard.

Someone plz confirm fuel tank capacity of civic 1999 google is showing 45...when i bought this car fuel was empty and car stopped just before petrol pump and i refilled Rs.2500/249PL.... approxed 10/L OdO 0.....today i refilled full tank got 40.38/L and meter is showing 63km it means i am getting 13.6L/km average .....driven without AC with light foot below 2.5rpm

Better check tank to tank average and fill petrol from one fuel pump and don't fill to the neck. Use auto fuel cut.

Today visit my mechanic he checked the car and its ecu saying u got fortune all wiring is uncut ecu and head are same ...changed engine oil 10-40w havoline recommended by mechanic filters and gear oil ATF honda 3L.

No they aren't correct.
Because I am daily driving civic vti oriel 2000 with original ecu (P2M-N12) but engine swapped with D15Z6 VTEC-E (which is altogether a different breed of engine). And its giving me 9.5 to 10 km/l with full AC. Even I have to drive in lot of traffic in Karachi at 7 PM everyday. My office to home is 14 kms but It took on average 45 minutes to 50 minutes but still I am getting good average despite these factors

I poured 10W-30 Havoline last time. Will now be going to 5w-30. Hopefully no issues. My car is manual.
