Civic 2002 headlight suggestions

Guys need suggestions for civic 2001-02 headlights... they have gone pretty dim. Should I go for projector lights or high power bulbs? Any other options? what can be the cost in each case and which brand is recommended?

1st check the condition of reflector, it shud be shiny like chrome and not like aluminium...

if you have used HID in past, then its almost sure that reflector is gone and beyond repair...

if reflector issue, then you need a new pair of headlights...must be original one....or you can also try to find a good condition reflector from used part market and get it replaced in ur headlights...not a very difficult job...

also check the headlight cover...if it is oxidised, then do some cleaning make it transparent...

install philip rally tubes H4 90/100watts...it is more thn sufficient for city and hi way used.

also install ready made relay kit in the wiring to safeguard the headlight switch from heating up..

Inner condition seems fine to me... covers are dirty. I had asked many electricians about 100 watts bulbs but they say wiring of this model cannot take the load. Can u please shed some light on this relay. How can I explain to Electrician?
Any idea about prices of rally tubes?

Original Philips Rally will cost you around 1500 max, there is seller in karachi...babar khan i guess...who used to have original stuff..

there are two ways for relays....desi way to make it using holders/two relays/wires etc...will cost u 500-600
other is to get a ready made relay kit normaly chinese costing 700/800

One more question.

Light housing is made for 55 watts bulbs I guess... won't 100 watts produce more heat and damage the reflector sooner?

Get a JDM pair of headlights with factory fitted HIDs. You'll have to visit bilal gunj or sultan ka khoo.

yes thats concern...but i have done that successfully in many japanses cars..and till date havent faced issue of plastic melt down or reflector damage due to high wattage bulbs....but i always sued philips...
