Plz visit www.hondacarindia.com, overall i like this model. Every thing is fine in new model of civic, any how god knows what shape and specifications we will get. But i really like this indian Civic.

Considering the current market situation they shud not increase the price of civic...1.8 shud be around 1350000 n 1.7 not more than 1250000rs..

ohh i just visited the indian website n noticed tht their is just an increase of 2 ps in 1.8 ..current version of civic 1.6 produces 130ps n 1.8 is producing just 132ps..this is not impressive at all (N)

The initial colors offered are Red, White and Blue!!.Today is the 4th of July!!.A Japanese car company releasing a new model on America's Independance day in India!!.

Believe you me, Chevy, Toyota, Hyundai ,Ford et al are gonna start a price war very soon and the same car can be had for atleast 5% less very soon.Good for the indian buyer!.

Alternatively, here's pics of the CHEVROLET SRV launched two days ago in India for approx 6.59 lacs.With the leftover money one can buy a Ford Ikon, two Maruti 800's, a Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai Getz, top of the line Hyundai Santro etc. etc......is the Civic really worth the asking price?....

Woke up at 430am to catch up with work and i'm trolling pakwheels!!...Anyways, more pics of the Civic and pics of the Chevy SRV dash which i think is a far better option and about 4.25 or more(with discounts) cheaper!!....The Honda dash looks too fussy to me and one doesn't see too many of the new Civics here in Newyork either!!.

Anyway if they price the Basic New Civic anything over 12 lacs, they are Out, they should Wrap their things in advance, with rush of imported cars and Corolla Altis 1.8 with everything having a price of 12.25 lacs is Hard to Sell for Toyota people, lesson already learnt, See the drop of Sale figures of City with just a price hike from 7.89 lacs to 8.39 lacs=Nobody's buying, same is the story with Dewanay Deewan people they cant sell their Santrozas any more, a 50k price jump was not acceptable in todays market flooded with imported variety

Honda civic was sold in Pakistan since a long time... this is the First time Honda is producing the Civic in India. and oh boy they have launched the latest version this time.

I saw the interview of Honda Chief in "NDTV Profit" news channel. The Honda Chief says India's Democracy puts it in a better position than China in the Future. He also said that Honda is going to give more importance to the Indian market from now on compared to the Chinese market

The civic is a masterpiece! The chevy stands no where near the civic! I just love the interior of the civic, and one must admit HONDA has done a grt job designing the INTERIOR of the car! ITS AWSOME!

Stop comparing it with the CHEVY SRV! The interior is PAthetic in front of the civic

I havnt seen ne interior better then that of the civic!
Even the older civic had a better interior that this CHEVY SRV..... The SRV dont look impressive at all!

I doeesnt even stands close to a 1.2L/1.3L/1.5L Honda fits... The civic is Awsome! a million times better then the SRV... The civic is equiped with a lot of things unlike the SRV!!
