Civic 2009- from CD changer to DVD player

Dear all,

I recently bought 2009 Civic vti which has default CD changer (as in picture). I plan to instead install DVD player with rearview camera. I was searching on Amzon and came across this DVD player.

Does anybody know if this thing will fit in Pakistani Civic and if the price looks reasonable. Other recommendations are also welcome. Thanks.

No need to buy expensive navigation from given website without any warranty. The company buy their original dvd/navigation from tacking world and ripping off the customers by charging too much.

Buy directly from tracking world with minimum price as compared to company price. Go their website and contact them for your query:

My primary purpose is to have a rear view screen. Someone suggested to get an indash panel (cost 2-3 thousands) and install a good branded 2din DVD player with camera support. What do you think of that?

Yes you can use any ordinary dash dvd for this purpose but video display will not of good quality. But the ordinary in dash dvd will look strange in dashboard if you don't use stock one shape. The stock dvd dash system have very features, good results and look very pretty.

Buy directly from tracking world and you should fit this unit by 3s dealership and all wiring will grip to grip.

Original CD changer gives much better look in comparison to LCD but if you wanted back view camera then go for original LCD which comes after 2010 model

By the way I am also searching for Civic 2009-2011 can you guide me.

Thanks. I did not plan purchasing the Civic and therefore did not search the market. The car was with a friend and I just came to know his plan to sell the car. Knowing the history of car and its usage, I decided to pick it up.
