My Honda Civic 2014 started to give a very weird sound from its dashboard right corner near the digital meter the sound does not come on a plain road but when it's on a bumpy road its actually very much annoying to hear such sound from a 2.4 million car. The sound is just like a screw or a metal like thing touching with something else.The meter is working perfectly no other issue at all. The car is only 15000kms done and the this sound is coming which is very annoying please help and suggest what to do ASAP ..

Unforunately the local cars are prone to rattling noises.

Removal and refitting of the panel comes to mind

Now what can I do to fix it ? You are right I have installed a music system due to which I had to open the dashboard once in the very beginning, but this sound never came, It started a couple of days back

Take it to an aunda stealership. If you're under warranty, they will boringly work on the car and probably will not rectify the issue and will tell you to get your ears checked from a hospital.

If you're not in warranty anymore, they will suggest dashboard replacement or anything like that with bills supposedly being something like "74999" or above 100k Rs so that you may never ever bother them again and learn to live with this tik tuk tik tuk in your car.

Same noise from my Honda 2014 as well. Just at 8000 km. Tried a lot to fix it but in vain. Sold the car when it completed 13800 km and was really disheartened after spending 2.5 million

My 2014 Civic started giving a very annoying noise , " chirr chirr chirr " when I put my arm on the arm rest ! This noise was caught by my ears 10 to 12 days after I got the car . To make my drive comfortable I stopped putting my arm on the arm rest and to compliment that I gave it a stronger stereo volume .
That is a pity , it should not happen in the new cars at least and as mentioned before the dealerships are crap and of no real help they are only focused on selling units and trap more and more " murghaaz " , so better get the things tuned and done from a reliable outsider at a much cheaper price !
Show Ur car issue to some one who installs car accessories , I think he will surely help U out and get the problem solved in maximum Rs . 1000/-
