We have 07 model hard top prosmatec. The front suspension (jhoola) was done at 85k KMs. But shock absorbers were not vhanged. The suspension has gone really stiff now at 103k KMs. It literally explodes on every small pothole. I guess the shock absorbers have gone bad. I have some questions:
Dont eve use this KYB absorber. I purchased second hand reborn 2010 and the absorbers were like hard rubber absorbing nothing, came to know that OEMS were removed and KYB were installed which makes car harder and gives u no comfort.You can easily get Japnese OEM kabli in perfect condition!let me know if u are karachi based ..

Its highly possible that the KYB shocks you got in your car had run for their lifetime, as my car ride has gone stiff on OEMs as they have completed their life. What say?
i puchased car at 62000 km and KYB were just installed by the seller. upon asking he said k bhai maine bs new purchase kr k daldiye (he has no sence of origial product). I have already installed the kaablis' and car is running smoother than before.OEM's are much softer than KYB, after all there will no comparision of OEMs againtst after market product!I trust my mechanic and also he provides 1 year warranty which is even not provided my KYB
Save yourself and dont ever install Kabli shocks in your car. They will never work good.
KYB is the best thing you can get for your car. I am using them in my 7th gen civic they are soft and will probably last a good time.
NEVER settle for the Kabuli shocks absorbers, always buy new ones, whether KYB or OEM, goto KYB website, they are OEM part providers for many Japanese car manufacturers. However the ones installed from factory have Honda stamped on them.
I guess i will be going for OEMs or KYBs since I do not trust kabli parts in this scenario. The thing is that how to make sure that the KYBs are original? I have to buy them in Multan. There is a famous Honda parts dealer in Multan at Auto Plaza. Auto Palace is the name of the shop. Anyone from Multan please confirm how authentic is the guy. Or suggest any other place to get the real KYBs rather than a chinese copy of that.
Kyb are made in thialand these days i guess, used to be made in japan in older days

they'll get hard as stone in 6-8 months, i guess. as thailand mades are not long lasting !
