I own a 1998 Civic with a 1600cc single VTEC and automatic transmission. I recently had suspension work done, which cost me around 35k. That was a bit too much compared to my expectations, thus I'm hesitant to go back to the mechanic for this issue and thought I might ask here beforehand to not get scalped by Faisalabadi mechanics in Bilal Gunj.
The issue is that my car bounces and sways a lot when going at 100kmph on every small bump on the road. This makes the car very unstable and unsafe to drive. I suspect that the issue is the packing in the suspension which makes the ride height higher. My car is used for family use and when there are 4 people seated, It hits some bad built speed breakers even when going diagonally over them.
I wanted to ask:
[A] Is it viable to get 3-way coilovers for a family car?
[B] Should i remove all of the packing and replace it with spacers?
[C] Should i remove the packing and go with the stock height?
