Civic reborn 2012 manual, Need guidance Stock exhaust and silencer

Hope you're doing well, this is a beginning for me as I don'tknow much about car parts and things. The blue part you see at the right (I think is exhaust or air filter) has been modified by a previous owner and people have told me to get to stock condition for better fuel average. I'mafraid that I'll get scammed cause I don't even know what that part is called. Can somebody please explain what is actually is? And what budget should I keep in mind? And can I sell this one or is just going to scrape. Also if it's even worth it to change it at all. Right now it'sgiving around 7km/L on high octane (withoutcatalyticconverteras I recently found out it's empty from inside, getting it installed asap too so anyhelp there willbe appreciated too)

This is a Simota cold air intake kit, someone actually bought a proper bottom breather (albeit cheap) kit for this car like it's supposed to. Most people just stuff in an air filter cone in the engine bay that sucks in hot air instead of cold.

Without tuning, this air intake kit is pretty useless. Revert back to the stock air box, go to a parts shop and ask for reborn ka original air box complete assembly with filter.

For cat, you can get a new unit from Honda, or buy used from a reputed silencer shop. Also check spark plugs and buy new plugs for it if required. OEM plugs are NGK IZFR6K-11.

This car, when driven with a light foot should give you 9-10 kmpl easy.

Ask this guy (Rai Affan: +92 300 7633000) over the phone on the parts you need, you can whatsapp him the picture you need and get the quote, I see him often put Air Intake and other accessories for 8th gen (A.K.A Reborn).
He maybe expensive than the rest of the market, so do proper market check before buying from anyone.

Just saw, he has a catalogue setup now on the Whatsapp.

The seller Farhan mentioned above does have good parts, but he is expensive. You can have them shipped to KHI. I'm from KHI also, and have had complete engines, wheels, etc shipped here countless times, so smaller parts being shipped are not a problem.

I have decided to go with the new chinese catalytic converters, but I'm still not sure if it's the right choice as some mechanics are saying that it won't improve the fuel average.
