Friends i have civic reborn 2007 model, when i purchased this car so didnt check the cataylic converter, and i was confused abt the sound but when i check my car to mechanic so he told me tht their cataylic converter jali has broken, thts why when i start my car first time so its sounds Loud, and its not giving me good fuel average. Kindly suggest me what should i do bcuz my car is giving me 8 km without ac and 6.5 on ac, its damn expensive, plz help me should i change my cataylic converter ?

Buy a kabli cat converter. Try to have it removed from a half cut.

Your issue of sound from the engine compartment will be resolved. Fuel economy will improve and drive will be better/ enjoyable.

Please replace your cat converter and get following things checked up,
1. Fuel Filter.
2. O2 Sensor.
3. Injectors.
4. Air filter.
replace bad/dirty fuel filter, clean O2 sensor and if required please replace it because it handles air/fuel mixture. which city are you from if you are from Karachi then i can help.

Yaar buhat pareshan hogaya hun, jab kahin jana ho 1000,500 1000,500 ka petrol dalwa dalwa kar thak chuka hun,
Car ki jabse tunning karwayee hai jabse kitna hi petrol dalwalou kahan jaraha hai patah hi nhn chal raha, ushi din cnfrm hua tha k cat ki jali tooti hui hai, or usdin se zayada petrol average kam hogaya hai

Yaar mine is giving easy 10 on Ac and around 12 without Ac
Model 2008
1500 kay petrol may 170 km easily

Salam, my car Reborn 2007 was giving me 460-470 (without cat). But I don’t know why my ride is now giving me only 270-300 for full tank. I never installed cng. This huge difference is disturbing, now i have installed kabli good condition CAT as well, please guide me brother

Bro which engine oil u are using secondly check ur spark plugs and o2 sensor i have a 2010 honda civic prosmatic and it has 325k km (3 lac 25 thousand) on the odo cat con was removed on 74000km still running on geniune engine and like a champ masha allah and it gives me 10-11 kmpl in city with ac

Asalam u alaikum, bro my reborn is also giving worst fuel economy. In city it is consuming a fuel of Rs1500per 60km and on highway it consumes Rs 1500 per 70km. Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem.
