Civic Reborn hybrid IMA code problem

Assalmualaikum

I recently bought a Civic reborn hybrid 2006 model, import 2008. . I drove the car for an about half an hour, car's interior started becoming hot, although the engine temperature gauge was showing normal temperature, it started showing IMA code and battery sign, and the car started shaking and was about to hault when I realized the problem. I stopped the car and started it again after a rest of 10 minutes. The IMA code disappeared and battery sign too. What might be the problem , any opinion please ?

Check the IMA battery's cooling system. Fans might be clogged and I'm not sure about Honda's inverter system but in Toyota's system, there is a separate coolant pump and reservoir for inverter. If some similar system is present in your car, service that.

should they be replaced at first ? or should I get them serviced first ?

Better to sevice them first I think as you mentioned the heat in the interior, battery pack is located behind rear seat and it geeting hot might be why the interior felt hotter. Also it's best to check the individual cells in the pack and look for swelling or leaking and replace bad ones.
