I have bought it couple of days ago. Its 2011 model with 50k on the ODO Meter. First owner said that it needs a new air filter, issii liyay missing ker rahy hai! It will fix the problem. It only happens when you are driving on low RPM and suddenly push down hard to speed up to over take or something.

Is he right?, would changing the air filter fix the problem. How much would this cost. Can I do it at home ? on my own!

probably get ur car tuned . air filter , plugs and throtle service

or it may also be due to fuel filter

I just want to know if the "missing at low rpms" can be caused due to air filter, so I just buy a filter and replace it myself. I dont want to go the dealer and get robbed.

This is not a hard and fast rule,just remove air filter and see the condition,if its full of dust or in dirty condition then simply replace it,otherwise i don't think missing at low rpm is just because of a dirty filter.

After reborn has run for 40,000kms uss kai kafi saray kam kerwanay pertay hain.
1. tuning
2. oil & oil filter change
3. air filter
4. brakes if needed
5. fuel pump
6. fuel filter
7. transmission oil
8. alignment & balancing

it will cost u more than 35000. Contact a honda dealership for more details.

also reborn ki aik mounting main manufacturing fault hai. engine kai left per hai woh. they change it free of cost if it breaks before 100,000kms or car is younger than 5years. do get it checked too.

The missing u are experiencing is just the DBW(Drive by wire) system on our cars..Its not actually missing its just throttle lag..There isnt a problem wid ur air filter or anything like that im sure..But if u must get a new filter and its really dirty than get a new Oem one..hope that helps.

Is there a delay in response or does the car jerk while accelerating.

Just saying- if the seller was smart he would buy a cheap air filter and solve the problem. I bet he had already done that but the fault was elsewhere so he just made up an excuse.

Have your honda 3s dealer inspect the whole car.

Go to the 3s dealer you got your car from and tell them to change your faulty engine mount.

i wish if palmists could tell about cars and their faults just by looking at our posts.
your car needs to be checked physically. not every mechanic/dealer is a robber and one cant do all the things in the world himself. Allah has given every individual a different skill to earn his/her living.

So, I went to the 3S dealer today. They had their foreman test-drive the car. He said there is nothing wrong with the car, I just need to make sure, not to change gears so quickly. Like driving on less than 40KM/h on 3rd gear.

That did not make sense. The other guy went through the records (the car was being maintained at the same 3S dealer) and assured me that car is in perfect condition and has been properly inspected and tuned in the past.

He said the last inspection was done at 40,000KM. He also added that I need to get an inspection done at 60,000KM and tuning at 80,000KMs.

I am still not satisfied,... hun ki karan ?

Get your car scanned and see your Spark timing advance I suppose. Scanner will tell everything

If you are in lahore then There are many places. It costs 300 - 500 depending on worksop
