Hi,my Civic Oriel 1.8L 2018 has stock 215/55 R16 tyres , as i live in hilly area my car get hit often on rough roads , please suggest how should i upsize tyres so that my car doesn't scratch/hit the speed bumps and rough road .
I think 215/60/R16 or 215/65/R16 Would suffice. Still, let experts guide you better that whether this size will rub against wheels arches / sleeves or not? Especially with luggage and / or 4~5 people onboard.
Two options
Keeping same rim use 215/60/R16
Or change rims to 17
215/55/17
But you still have to drive carefully as it can't be compared to corolla
