Civic vs Prius Comparison

AoA,

Guys i have a budget of around 18 to 20 lacs for my new ride. I've shortlisted two vehicles. Honda Civic 9th Gen (2013-2015) and Toyota Prius 3rd Gen (2011-2014). How would you compare these vehicles purely in terms of exterior and interior design, build quality, safety, reliability, features etc.

Fuel cost and maintenance cost is not a constraint.

I'm currently using an 8th Gen civic. I'm very much satisfied but just want to upgrade.

W.S. If I had to choose from these 02; I would go for Honda Civic!

In my opinion Civic will be a better choice if you get a well maintained one. If it was Prius 4th generation, I would have voted for it. The imported cars are a gamble when even they are imported let alone a 4-7 years old locally used with no authentic repair shops. You never know what will be the condition of batteries and when they'll give up on you.

In this budget U will get a prius that will be already driven in pakistan which means Excessive wesr n tear n most probably a problematic car . Most rather all jdm are accidented (when u import) except a few which u ll not get in this range. Civic is a better option With good maintainence support . U might consider altis 2015 2014 SR.

If fuel cost is not a constraint then definitely go for Civic. Prius is a used Japanese car which has been driven for years in Pakistan is not really a good choice.

I would say don't go for 9th gen. I think 8th looks much better. Either go for X or stay with the same.
