I also went ahead and bought kabli set of door handles from the hybrid version which are half chrome , got them for a steal at 1200/piece color matched

If you have limited budget, go for cosmetics/jdm parts later and perform the fluid flushes first. Power steering fluid and brake fluid are two most neglected maintainance items and should be replaced periodically. Coolant (if there) would be 10+ years old and should also be replaced. Also check windshield trim rubber as thats prone to rot in this generation and then causes rust in windshield channel.

Brother aba Ji handles the maintenance and yes will be getting all the fluids flushed . The vtec seal was leaking that along with the valve cover gasket was replaced . Radiator was cleaned . I just ordered the engine flush as soon as it arrives the car goes for maintenance
Will be using Honda PSF, MTF and break fluid
Also getting the belt changed
Coolant will be added as well it was running on water I am still checking for leaks after the radiator was cleaned
Plus all the filters

I have made some good progress with the car

Interior trims have been wrapped with 7D carbon fibre
Cruise control installed
Rims have been buffed

Logged in after 2 years , have been daily driving her since .
Getting around 15km/l with 30km of motorway and 30km of city driving . Rear shocks are busted . The car needs plugs and filters . The adjuster bearing may have started to go out as I can hear a little squeaking . May have to check one of the engine mounts and get the bumpers a fresh coat of paint . She survived the monsoon got me home safely even with a high water level . Every day I start her up and she is ready for the journey ahead . I am grateful to Allah for such a car . I am saving up money for a exterior type R conversion and a top notch paint job . Hope to add the digital climate control and remote trunk unlock options from a jdm model

Man It's been 2 years? I rem seeing your posts. I drive a manual 2012 too, the car, although was in great nick, had minor problems and needed fixes, some done by myself and other needed diagnosing. But I'm slowly getting there.

For shocks, get new. I got new KYB all around when I got the car 3 years back. Same for plugs, get brand new OEM iridiums. I always make it a point to use OEM Honda filters.

The R18 is smooth as butter, even at lower revs if it works as it should.

For bumpers and kits, I got modulo originals from Peshawar, it looks great. Where are you getting a Type R conversion from?
