Find whatever brand of evaporator is offered, then call around or google out what is the tube count in it. Also find out if it comes with the required foam packing.
Then find a junked original evap and cut it open to count the internal tubes in the channels, compare both, they should be exactly alike, if they are not alike, and the cheaper one has larger and less channels, its trash!
Whatver brand you install make sure your mechanic does a full blowout and flushout of all parts and charges the exact right qty of oil in the system before pulling a vacuum. Usually they just add a tablespoon and say kaafi hai.
