That is exactly what is happening with my Civic and it is not normal as i am 2 more same model and variant car's of my friend and they have this issue. Can you please let me know that are you done with CVT callibration and fuel filter change?

Same issue in my civic 2017 model …. Issue started after throttle plugs cat etc cleaning ….. visited dealership and they changed plugs and even coils but issue remained …. They suggested that it is gear box issue … one of them said that it seems wall body issue in gear box….
