Civic X brake problem

Salam everyone. I have recently bought a 2018 civic. There is a serious issue with it’s brakes, the brake is powerful at the beginning but once the ABS engages brakes become very weak and the car takes very long to stop. It works like cycle brake -_-
The ABS is working fine I have also checked it through the computer. I have changed it’s brake pads and did the cleaning but it only got worse

Get rotors checked..

I got them checked and cleaned 3 days ago but still no difference

ABS function as you have explained it. Nothing wrong.

But ABS at an early stage engagement shows tyre issue. Seems tyres are hard .

Why would the ABS engage in normal use? Only had that happen once to me, and that was because of bad tires.

Civic is known for its brakes but for some time my brakes are not working properly whenever i brake hard and the abs engages the brakes become very weak i feel like abs is not working properly its missing like the brakes are locking up sometimes and then they suddenly release. This increases the brakes distance. Im using bridgestone turanza on 18 inch rims. I have driven the car 20k km on these tyres

This is typical behaviour of ABS . It increases breaking distance once engaged. The issue is that ABS has to be engaged once full force is applied. If it is engaged while minor brake pedal then its either tyres or brake pad adjustmwnt
