Civic X RS 2021 or Civic XI Oriel?

AOA Pakwheelers,

Hope you all are doing fine. I currently own a 2021 Civic X RS and have driven it around 40,000 kms. I want to switch to new civic but since Civic XI RS is way over budget so I was considering Civic XI oriel as a buy. What do you guys suggest? Is it worth upgrading to Oriel or should I keep my 2021 RS?

New car is always worth it . Comfort and dynamics are much improved. It wont be snappy like ur current RS but can be easil tuned as well. If budget is there, new is the way to go but ur car is also not old by any means. So u can even keep it for a good time.

Biggest thing u will miss is paddle shifters

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, paddle shifters and remote starting will be missed for sure. I personally don't keep cars for long since I travel frequently and I prefer to change my car before hitting 50k mileage. As far as the budget is concerned, I have sufficient funds for oriel Alhamdulillah but the only thing that is confusing me is weather or not it is worth upgrading or no. Since you are an 11 Gen owner, how do you rate it's comfort and drive over the previous gen.

Comfort wise its way way better than X. Seats are finally having some foam

Have test driven an Oriel XI, didn't like the drive after driving RS X.

If you can adjust to lower HP , then go ahead.

If in doubt, then keep it for 1-2 year, then maybe change to XI RS

X1 oriel will retain value better but x RS is so much more fun

Different vehicle

Different experience

But following is my observation

Less power as compared to RS
Less interior space especially for rear passengers

But if you are interested in compact SUVs , yhen it is a good contender

No doubt peugoet is fun to drive but it won't be as reliable as toyota or honda but that doesn't matter in your case since you switch vehicles sooner than later.

Also the parts will be overly expensive due to european brand. Even if it were not european, it would still be expensive due to Lucky Motors. Their prices for Kia parts are way more than big 3.

personally i would keep X RS for enough time to have enough funds for 11th Gen RS.
11th Gen isn't bad, is it is the most popular civic variant, but it misses many nice things from the RS.
