Civic X seal leak

Assalamoalaikum everyone
Hope you’re doing well
I recently bought a used 2017 civic X 62K driven not sure about that though
Meter might be revered
Anyways i took my car to Honda point for Engine and transmission oil change
And they said your seals are leak
Seals are for 4000 + 20,000 labour as engine and gear needs to be removed
Then i went to another workshop engine oil was leaking because of loose free boult but the gear oil seal is actually leak
What do you guys suggest

Which seal is leaking? The only seal that requires engine removal is the rear main seal and its not 4000 rs part.

Yup, it's the rear main seal that leaks. Honda replaces the gasket.

that is not a gasket but a modular seal, and its more than Rs 4000. Do they follow the actual procedure of installing the seal correctly or just monkey slap it together?

bigger question here is that why is it leaking? its a very durable seal.

It doesn't actually leak, more like seeping really. I took a photo of the seepage on my car. I'll post it here if I can find it.

thats a leak. its spreading out - thats why it looks like a seep.

With such I usually check the PCV first.

I hope the dealership mechanics remember to put thread sealant on the flywheel bolts and also on bolts that are in through holes, The seal itself needs to be installed with a plastic cup to ease it on the crankshaft. Otherwise it folds inside.

Issue is the same that I told you before. Transmission rear seal failure. He too got it changed from shehryar traders. 5-6k for labor and whatever the cost of seal is.

as in a pair of axles? or a pair of end cv joints?

IIRC outer cv joint kit costs around 28k from Honda and complete driveshaft assy costs around 54k.

But what I don't understand is that if seal is bad then why did u replace axles instead of just replacing the seal.
