Civic X subwoofer

Hi,

I wanted to know if PKDM Civic X has wiring for sub-woofer factory installed as given in the link.

Also, can I run a small woofer from the stock HU without amplifier? I just want the sound range and not mind blowing low end bass.

I dont think it has built in wiring (correct me if im wrong). But i would recommend you to use amp to power the sub. Its not everyday you install a sub. Do once do wise. U can use a mono amp. It will be enough for the sub.

My experience with amplifier has not been well and I don't trust these mechanics with my car. In my previous car, I had to change / repair my amplifier 2-3 times over a period of 5 years and their solution is the spend more to fix it. Plus when they open up car for all the wiring for amplifier / sub-woofer, they don't assemble it back the way it was originally was. But that's just how my experience has been.

Bro you need to go to a professional who knows what he is doing, I have been going to sound valley saddar rwp , shery bhai there does an excellent job(also a little more expensive than others), for past 3-4 years he is doing all my cars, currently I have a Kenwood KFC w3010 woofer and an Almani amp(civic X), a very basic setup but it need it just to add a bit of punch to my songs, not to annoy others.

Its a very basic bare bones setup, but i can show you no problem if you are serious.
From you earlier posts I see that you are in DHA 2 as well.

have you installed the subwoofer in the trunk between the regular speakers or is it in a separate box? I don’t want to waste my trunk space, so wondering if the sub can installed at the stock location.

Get a sub installed on any new amplifier.even the cheapest sub and amp will add punch that you need.
The car will require sound deadning on the rear parcel shelf,rear parcel shelf and some place inside the boot and its lid
