Hi everyone, does anyone know the procedure to 'reset' 10th gen Civic's sunroof?
Have 2018 oriel, battery died completely a week ago, car just sat in the garage for a couple of days because I did not have time to get the battery replaced. Eventually got it jump started with another car and got the battery replaced. Traction light came on but I believe that's normal because it went away on its own after dirving for a few minutes, no other issue noticed at the time.
Couple of days later I noticed that one touch sunroof open/close isn't working, it opens and closes just fine if I keep holding the button. Once its all the way open or closed (tilted?) it starts making a grinding noise which sounds like it's trying to open/close even when its already in one of those states. Feels like it forgot when to stop pushing it further?
Searched on the internet and found a couple of guides to 'reset' sunroof https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/10th-gen-moonroof-reset-procedure.38760/
https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicAdvice/comments/sn1buu/sunroof_tilted_up_on_one_side_not_flush_with_car/
But these don't seem to be working for me, does anyone have any ideas?
Would like to try a DIY before taking it to a dealership.
