It isn't a sports car. Our awaam likes to stretch it to above the road speed limits, that's a different story.
Second, if it skid for an extended period and not just a slight hiccup, the MOST important thing you have to do next is get your tires checked.
What's the tire tread depth?
I'm surprised nobody has asked you to do this yet. Traction control will do nothing if your tires are worn out.
So, make sure they have a good tread depth and if not, get them replaced.
