AOA everyone , i am posting on behalf of my friend here , he having a CJ 5 , manual with 2L engine , i am attaching the picture of the vehicle , he wants to change the gearbox from Manual to Automatic , suggestions are highly recommend ,

an auto transmission with transfer case from any 4x4 Hi-Lux will couple to this engine. you may have to do some surgical cut weld at under carriage.

Aoa bro, is it worth changing the transmission ?? Or just let it be manual ?? I heard from few mechanics they typically say , Kamyab nahe hai ismy automatic gear ....so just puzzled a little bit

Yes don't auto 2L. If you want to enjoy auto at least go with 5vz, 3rz, 1kzte then auto transmission would be fun.

the power of a diesel motor best in Northern areas / off road terrain can only be enjoyed with manual transmission.

As in posted picture i assume it is a vehicle for rental by groups / tourist to venture further ahead, so best choice will be to stick with manual transmission.
