CJ in wrangler Shape needed

Salam Guys
I need CJ in Wrangler shape. My budget is 4-5.
I am offroad enthusiast and new to this world. Need guide.
Suggestion about any other off road car are also highly appreciated.
Everybody in my office says I AM FOOL. they suggest me to go for Cultus or mehran (I hate these two).
currently I have Baleno 2005 on petrol. What is fuel consumption of CJ?

sir, its humble suggestion to go for a vehicle which is actually your passion. deciding an offroad according to the budget wont take you anywhere.

enthusiast usually go for a restoration but needs patience of different level. in a low budget you can get the following vehicles but not in excellent condition.

Partially restored in basic working condition::

CJ5 - 2 to 3 lacks these are usually available in karachi
CJ7 - 3 to 5 lacks
Fj40- in auction condition 200K to 300K
Fj40 - Partially restored any where from 300K to 500K
Potohar - around 300K
Willeys - not in working condition with a diesel engine may be around 300K

Today I have found a CJ5 converted to wrangler. RKR dash, prado 3400 engine. winch, powers steering, AC, key less entry. Owner is agreed to give away for 570,000.
How to check documents? Plus CJ5 converted to wrangler is legal? any documentation issue?

In Jhelum, I came across a jeep having CJ7's chassis, and Wrangler's original body. Peshawar registered. The demand was 550K. Was interested, but found myself a MUTT (M151). Let me know if you're interested in that vehicle, will send you the contact number of the showroom. Good luck for the hunt though.

Sir I did the same conversion but it needs a lot of documentation and paper work.....
Usually cj5 can't be converted into a wrangler easily due to a lot of alterations............

You would need to check the
1: custom clearance documentation.
2: custom intelligence verification of chassis.
3: conversion tax payment certification from Custom department.
4: Cj5 's auction papers that too original and the entire file from where it was auctions (army or airforce etc).......
5: then you would need engine conversion documentations but this is the easy part.... I think thats it's... now you are good to go......

Someone suggested me to go for laboratory test..
I asked the guy and he is agreed to do laboratory test. Can anyone explain what is laboratory

sir ji, laboratory test is a test conducted by the forensic labs (done by a 3rd party monitored by Police). what they do is they check if the chassis is manipulated or not and if the chassis engraving is manipulated or not. so usually CJs which were rolled out by universal dont have any chassis engraving and have a plate instead (which is called a tickly is desi language). they will create an issue a great one because they wont find any engraving and will either ask for bribe or impound the vehicle.
if the documentation mentioned in the previous thread is available then laboratory test is already done.

There are two different thing..

1 cj5 chassis and wrangler body(has to have custom receipt of body tax)

2 cj5 converted to wrangler but body modification like grill headlights and wrangler dash board totally fine no problem of any such custom clearances

Is it 100% safe to modify the CJ 7 exterior to Robicon by locall ustaad in city sadar road..
Those USTAAD also said that CJ 7 is always marked CJ 5 in documents by PAK army...
