Very nice job. The vehicle bears authentic looks though it seems that it has gone through a denting job and got repainted.

Especially the Bonnet and front grille job is perfect. Although there is some gap in the left fender for fitting the indicator lamp.

After a heavy dose of rubbing and wax with matching decals it would look like an original Wrangler.

Wasn't this contraption built by rustum in pindi? Why bother making it look like a wrangler if it isn't one??? I just don't understand why people do this to decent CJ-7s. It no longer looks like an offroader, now it looks like one of those fluffy jeeps which are used to prance around town in.

The work is good though.

Storm.. i do agree with your point. This vehicle however was made as a project of the Islamabad Jeep Club. Everything was documented. From the Windshield to the Tub, to the grill and the auto motorized top. The purpose was to documetn the craftsmanship, art and handiwork of the local workers who are never credited in any way for their work (be it the auto industry or any other traditional crafts and arts). Each detail was finely made. Yes.. It is based on the TJ but it has some unique features like the hood hooks and the auto top. It took a long time to build this thing but it sure was a satisfying experience.
The price of these vehicles,Jahanzaibkhan, depends on how much work,details went into the rig and what machinary was used. email me at ehsankiani@yahoo.com if you have anything specific in mind..

This runs on a 6 Cyl turbo diesel Nissan engine. The turbo was replaced with one from a 2LT for better performance.
