We are of course talking about the Windows Phone operating system and Nokia?s Lumia lineup of smartphones. Even though Microsoft licenses out the OS to other OEMs including Samsung and HTC, the truth of the matter is that it is Nokia and Nokia alone that has shouldered the responsibility to ensure that the platform gains traction. After all, their livelihood depends on it now that they don?t have any plans to make Android smartphones.

I am also inclined towards WP, because android is laggy and needs super heavy hardware to operate and apple is way too costly.

Nopes not my choice now,back in 2010 windows phone 7 looked future phone on htc mozart but sadly wp never got that perfect element.still spending 67k on these phones seems very useless where all wp has same UI.

Been running WP8 on my lumia 920 since October of 2012. No issues whatsoever and I love the camera. I've always got the best and clearest camera in any group (compared to any android or iPhone).
I had the lumia 920 ever since WP8 had no application ecosystem, but now it's a lot better. Everything runs smooth, I love that I have microsoft office pre-loaded.

If you can afford it, go for it. It's the most versatile smartphone I've ever used.

Looks nice. A PREMIUM camera in smart phone. Only issue with lumias and win mob 8 usrs is shortage of afyer market apps and games. Where everything is offered and available to android world.

i owned a 920 for a week(sold it at profit + i'm a android geek). although the experience was a lil boring but it had a distinctive feel. the ui is suited for the people who want to keep a smartphone but hardly use it smartly. the typing(although the keyboard is irreplaceable like android), extra senstive touch(would track just anything on screen), tiles, w8ing for nokia Normandy for a similar experience but with android under the hood.

WP8 is still a beta os don't know when Microsoft will improve it.
