Climate control in corolla gli 2010

Aoa,
My 2010 toyota corolla gli 1.3 has a bad ac compressor that needs to be replaced. It will be a 40k 50k job and so i was wondering is it possible to add climate control to my car. Some version of this corolla came with climate control and i leaned from another forum that you have to change the compressor, blower and ac panel to fully install climate control. Is this possible and what will be the cost and where can i find the parts. Please guide...

waste of money and time as whole Havc system will be changed with cut wire etc.

Go for fixing the existing cooling system. It will work just fine. You need to find the perfect person who does it.

Which city you are from ?

However there are couple of tricks who works well to obtain better cooling in corollas.

In 1.3L Corolla, I saw some people replaced the compressor+condensor of Toyota Altis and cooling improves.

Or they replace the compressor & condensor of Honda BRV and its cooling becomes best.

Don’t tell anyone but I did this juggar with one of my ex-corolla and its AC runs like new car AC (with BRV’s compressor & condensor). But a bracket needs to be install which holds the compressor and also its belt. However end results were amazing. I still miss that. Imagine the car is idling at red signal and you are enjoying the cool air

Sir Corolla 2010 came with Compressor which has a flow valve(Sensor wala compressor)
Changing compressor to a clutch Type compressor of BRV will increase load on the engine and will reduce Fuel average

Well as I mentioned there are few tricks & jugaars.

Actually when I went to AC shop to fix its cooling system, the Toyota’s original compressor (Kabuli or repaired one from bilal ganj, who knows) price was ~30K. After charging gas, and other things (o-rings, valves, coolant, etc.) the total kharcha was going over 50K.

While at that time Honda BRV’s compressor was for 16K only. But apart from the price gap, I trusted the person because I know him over many years and he gave me guarantee that if it doesn’t work, then i can shift back to Toyota’s compressor and he will not charge any labour for doing all the job again.

However I must accept that Honda BRV’s compressor in 2006 Corolla worked best for me & economical too.
