I haven't words to describe the sadness that grips me for seeing lives lost in this racing incident, but one shouldn't forget, its not the responsibility of the driver to take measures for safety.
The driver himself puts his own life on the line to get into a car and drive competitively.
I personally would not blame the driver but the organizers who should have made absolutely sure that safety measures were taken. That is why its necessary for racing events to be governed under the FIA, as they have strong safety regulations for tracks and our Government hasn't made any of its own.
In general racing incidents happen, but its the responsibility of the organizers, and the government sanctioning the event, to get all these things right.
I would strongly emphasize on the Government to take action and not grant any approval for Racing Events possibly being held on public roads, and it MUST prioritize the CREATION of WELL GOVERNED Race Tracks for organized sport to happen like we have for cricket and stuff.
This is a sport which not only comes under Ministry of Sport, but maybe the only sport which also comes under the Ministry of Science and Technology...
If we don't have motorsport we don't have engineering competitiveness to out engineer the other competitors. Motorsport is not like the waste of time cricket or other sport are. It marks scientific achievement and engineering prowess of a country.
For my pro-pakistani brothers you mustn't forget Force India F1...
Do it, its a good thing, but only when you play it safe. Safety First...
